After falling to Marshall County the night before, Madisonville North Hopkins rebounded Tuesday with an Odyssey against Webster County winning in five sets (19-25, 25-20, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13). Kathryn Sutton led the attack with 13 kills followed by Jaela Bottoms with 11 kills. Makenzie Brown also got in on the scoring with six aces. “Our girls came ready to play,” North head coach Amanda Cole said. “They played with a lot of heart, intensity and fight from start to finish. I was proud of how the girls adjusted and competed, especially in a five-set battle.” North will be back in action on Thursday as they’ll travel to Murray to play Calloway County, while Webster will be at Lyon County.
