Madisonville North Hopkins High School

he Madisonville North Hopkins girls soccer team was eliminated in the semi-state round of the Kentucky 2A Tournament on Saturday falling to North Oldham 7-0 at Nelson County. Neveah Lindle recorded 11 saves before Taylor Wint came in relief and made four saves. Madisonville’s offense was held to only five shots on goal for the game. Aletheia Golightly was named to the All-Tournament Team with one goal and one assist for the tournament, both coming in North’s 8-0 win over Webster County back on Sept. 1 in Dixon. 2026 marked the first year Madisonville participated in the 2A State Tournament. The Lady Maroons will host Bowling Green on Tuesday.
